Dining in Elegance
This gorgeous dining room was completely refinished for a Basking Ridge NJ client. The ceiling features an Anaglypta wallpaper which was carefully antiqued in a warm brown glaze. The ceiling area surrounding the Anaglypta was finished in a subtle blue marble effect, adding a splash of color and dimension to the area. The lower portion of the walls (below the chair rail) were base painted in a dark brown tone then finished with a shimmering metallic gold textured finish. For the grand finale the ceiling medallion and mouldings were antiqued using a richly colored glaze offering an old world effect throughout the entire room.
